The Heart of the Ancients is a powerful relic with two different powers you can use in Borderlands 2. Like the Blood of the Ancients relic, this is an E-tech relic that the Eridians manufacture.
Here are the two perks you get with the Blood of the Ancients relic.
- It increases the damage you deal with your weapons.
- It increases the time you have in bleed-out for Fight For Your Life or increases the health you get after Second Wind.
How to get the Heart of the Ancients relic?
To get the Heart of the Ancients relic in Borderlands 2, you have to loot it from Legendary Loot Midgets in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode. To access the Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, you must be at least level 50 and have finished the game in True Vault Hunter Mode.
- Legendary Loot Midgets have a 50% chance of dropping E-tech weapons, including the Heart of the Ancients relic.
A great way to hunt Legendary Loot Midgets in Borderlands 2 is in the optional Doctor’s Orders mission. During this mission, you will encounter Legendary Loot Midgets near the boxes at the second ECHO’s location.
Remember not to pick up the recorder parcel at the warehouse, or the midgets will not spawn. You can save your game and keep replaying that part until you get the Heart of the Ancients relic.
