Borderlands PRE SEQUEL XP Farming GUIDE
Fastest Ways to Reach Level 70
The Ultimate XP FARMING GUIDE
Leveling up in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel can take some time, especially as you get closer to the level cap. Fortunately, there are several farming methods that let you earn XP much faster than simply progressing through the story.
Below are the best XP farming methods in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, whether you’re looking to level up your own character, power level a friend, or quickly gain the last few levels before endgame.
Welcome to Helios
Location: Helios Space Station
Type: Mission reset farm
DLC Required: No
What is the Welcome to Helios Farm?
The Welcome to Helios farm is one of the fastest ways to gain XP in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel once you’ve unlocked Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode (UVHM). By repeatedly resetting your playthrough and completing the opening mission, you can earn a large amount of XP in just a few minutes.
Each time you revive Jack and turn in the Welcome to Helios mission, you’ll receive approximately 40,000 XP. Since the introduction is short and easy to complete, this method is an efficient way to level up without fighting difficult enemies.
How to SETUP the Welcome to Helios Farm?
- Unlock Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode (UVHM).
- From the main menu, reset your UVHM playthrough.
- Start a new UVHM playthrough and progress through the introduction.
- Continue until you revive Jack and complete the Welcome to Helios mission.
- Turn in the mission to receive approximately 40,000 XP.
- Save and Quit.
- Reset your UVHM playthrough and repeat the process.
TIPS
- Each run takes roughly 5 minutes once you’re familiar with the introduction.
- Ignore unnecessary enemies and objectives to complete each run as quickly as possible.

Guardian Hunter
Location: Vorago Solitude
Type: Quest farm
DLC Required: No
What is the Guardian Hunter FARM?
The Guardian Hunter quest is one of the fastest XP farms in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. During the mission, Guardians continuously spawn until they’re captured. By simply defeating them instead of completing the objective, you can create an endless stream of enemies for easy XP.
This method is especially effective while you’re around the quest’s intended level and is also one of the best ways to quickly level another player (coop).
How to setup THE Guardian Hunter FARM?
- Travel to Vorago Solitude.
- Accept the Guardian Hunter side quest from Sterwin.
- Equip the special grenade required to start the mission.
- Do not use the grenade, as capturing the Guardians will complete the objective.
- Stand near the Guardian spawn point and continuously defeat the Guardians as they appear.
- Keep farming until the XP starts to slow down or you’re ready to move on.
TIPS
- Fast-firing weapons or abilities that quickly eliminate enemies make this farm much more efficient.
- Save and Quit every few minutes to clear enemy bodies and maintain smooth performance.
- This is one of the fastest methods for power leveling another player, allowing a low-level character to reach high levels in a short amount of time.
- Besides XP, you’ll also earn Moonstones, cash, and plenty of weapon proficiency progress while farming.

What is the Darksiders Farm?
The Darksiders farm is one of the best places to gain XP during the main story. Located in Triton Flats, this area contains several waves of Darksider enemies that are easy to defeat and provide a solid amount of experience.

- Travel to Triton Flats.
- From the Fast Travel station, head into the nearby Darksider cave.
- Defeat every wave of Darksiders that spawns.
