What is the Infinite Chest Farm?

After defeating Colonel Zarpedon in the Eye of Helios, you’ll gain access to a treasure room filled with several high-quality chests. Unlike most chest rooms in the game, this one can be farmed indefinitely simply by saving and quitting inside the room.

How to setup the Infinite Chest Farm?

  1. Defeat Colonel Zarpedon in the Eye of Helios.
  2. Enter the treasure room that opens after the fight.
  3. Open every chest and collect the loot.
  4. Sell any unwanted equipment at the nearby vending machines if needed.
  5. Save and Quit while still inside the treasure room.
  6. Reload your character.
  7. Open the respawned chests and repeat the process.

TIPS

  • This treasure room contains three red chests and five yellow chests, making it one of the best chest farms in the game.
  • Always Save and Quit inside the treasure room so the chests respawn when you reload.
  • The nearby vending machines let you quickly sell unwanted gear and buy ammunition without leaving the area.
  • This is an excellent farming method if you’re looking for legendary gear or need a quick way to earn cash by selling equipment.

Grinder Machine

What is the Grinder Machine Farm?

The Grinder is a unique crafting machine that lets you combine weapons to create new ones. One of its most useful features is the ability to transform duplicate legendary weapons into a different legendary weapon.

To do this, combine two legendary weapons with one purple weapon. The type of the purple weapon determines the type of legendary you’ll receive. For example, using a purple sniper rifle gives you a chance to receive a legendary sniper rifle.

Keep in mind that every Moonstone Grind costs Moonstones and the result isn’t guaranteed.

How to SETUP The Grinder Machine FARM?

  1. Travel to Concordia and interact with the Grinder.
  2. Insert two legendary weapons.
  3. Insert one purple weapon of the weapon type you want.
  4. Perform a Moonstone Grind.
  5. If you’re happy with the result, keep the item. Otherwise, repeat the process using more legendary weapons.

TIPS

  • The purple weapon determines the weapon type you’ll receive. For example, use a purple shotgun if you’re looking for a legendary shotgun.
  • For legendary shields, Oz Kits, and grenade mods, you’ll need three legendary items instead of two legendaries and one purple weapon.
  • Make sure all the items you use are the same level, otherwise the resulting legendary will match the lowest-level item.
  • Every attempt costs Moonstones, so it’s worth farming Moonstones beforehand if you plan to use the Grinder extensively.
  • If you’re playing on PC, you can use the read-only save method to repeatedly reroll the Grinder without consuming your legendary items.

What is the Research and Development FARM?

Research and Development is one of the best all-around farming routes in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Along the way, you’ll open multiple red chests and loot lockers, fight several unique enemies with dedicated legendary drops, and finish by visiting Benjamin Blue, who has a chance to reward you with legendary loot.

After completing the route once, you can repeatedly farm Benjamin Blue by simply leaving and re-entering the map.

How to SETUP the Research and Development FARM?

  1. Start by checking the vending machines near the entrance for legendary items.
  2. Enter Lab 19 and defeat the Tiny Destroyer, which can drop the Moonlight Saga legendary Oz Kit.
  3. Activate the first pressure pad by performing a slam attack.
  4. Continue through the map, defeating enemies and opening every red chest and loot locker you encounter.
  5. Defeat the EX Stalker, which has a chance to drop Celestial Vanquisher legendary class mods.
  6. Defeat Torques and Badass Torques, which can drop the Bonus Package legendary grenade mod.
  7. Activate all four pressure pads scattered throughout the map.
  8. Return to Benjamin Blue’s cage and pet him three times to receive loot.
  9. Leave the map through the Hub of Heroism exit, re-enter Research and Development, and pet Benjamin Blue again to repeat the farm.

TIPS

  • Open every red chest, as they can occasionally contain legendary gear.
  • After activating all four pressure pads once, you can repeatedly farm Benjamin Blue by leaving and re-entering the map, there’s no need to complete the entire route again.
  • Benjamin Blue has a chance to reward you with legendary gear, although it may take several runs before one drops.
